A beautiful vintage pair of Scottish cufflinks by John Hart of Iona, a renowned silversmith. These quality pieces are meticulously crafted in sterling silver and showcase exquisite milgrain set oval moss agate cabochon stones alongside intricate Celtic knotwork patterns, evoking a sense of heritage and elegance.

Stamped: JH (within a circle), IONA and SILVER.

Combined weights: 10.11 grams.Ovals measure: 19mm x 13mm.

After Alexander and Euphemia Ritchie's death in 1941, Celtic Art Industries (C.A.I) was established in 1945 by Hamish Dawson-Bowman to carry on the Iona jewelry tradition. The founders Iain MacCormick, Malachy Gormley, and John Hart gained recognition, with Hart later leaving C.A.I to focus on his silversmith career. John Hart worked in the Iona silversmith style until the early 1970’s.
